Hybrid Learning at NIIT : 1. NIIT has adopted a Hybrid Methodology, wherein learning happens at the NIIT Centre and through the Internet. The site www.niitstudent.com brings learning and student services now to the student. It is the virtual learning centre of the NIIT student 2. The Web Based Learning sessions on the site caters to the FUTURZ (Career Program) students only. This covers students undergoing iGNIIT, Futurz Classic, WTC/WCC, Career Edge, Swift and Modular CATS courses. Select Services on the site are not applicable to students who have not enrolled for the Career Programs 3. The WBL Component currently comprises of Experts Answer and the Module Test Preparation zone. There are periodic Online Tests on the site that are specially configured to enable the student to prepare for the Module Tests at the NIIT Centre. The student is expected to take multiple attempts at these tests as well as utilize the 24*7 Experts Answer service effectively in order to maximize his performance at the NIIT Centre 4. Besides, student services are now available online. The student’s financial and academic information is available online. Additionally, the student can also send in feedback/suggestions/complaints thru the Helpline option at My eCentreWe Care. 5. Niitstudent.com also offers to all its Students services like Practice Assignments, Career Counseling, Experts Answers, and Tech Updates, which are aimed at enhancing the student's learning. These services, though not mandatory for any course are still strongly recommended. 6. At the time of registration, each student is handed over the ORIGINAL Courseware kit for every semester that he does at NIIT. 7. Students enrolled for the career programs and students of other select curriculum are also provided CD ROM based tutorials, along with the courseware. These CDs carry a Magic Key to enable access to Web Based Learning sessions on the site. In the absence of the Magic Key information, students will not be granted access to the relevant Web Based Learning Sessions 8. Every student is assigned a UNIQUE randomly generated Magic Key and it is the student’s responsibility to safeguard the same against loss or mis-representation. 9. No student must access the WBL session by activating any other magic key but his own. 10. Magic Key needs to be entered only once, the first time to enable the activation of the relevant Web based learning session About the Site : 11. The site www.niitstudent.com is a portal for the students of NIIT, India’s premier IT Training company and World # 13 in IT Education & Training 12. The site caters to students of India/Bhutan/Nepal/Bangladesh thru the India section of the site, www.netvarsity.com/India. It caters to the students of all other countries thru the section marked Rest of World. 13. By visiting niitstudent.com you are agreeing to abide by the Terms & Conditions of Use and are indicating that you have read and accepted all the terms & conditions of niitstudent.com, including but not limited to disclaimer and copyright statement. 14. It is the SOLE responsibility of the student to provide complete, accurate and up to date information about him/her on the site. All online services are provided to the student based on the information supplied by him and validated against the student records at NIIT. 15. Students of NIIT are identified by their unique Student ID and Registration Number. 16. The site requires the student to register online. This is over and above the registration at the NIIT centre 17. A Registered User is a user of Niitstudent.com who has duly registered with Niitstudent.com. 18. Niitstudent.com recognizes a valid Niitstudent.com user only by his login-ID & password. As a registered user, you are requested not to share your login-ID and password with anyone. You are therefore also requested to safeguard your login-ID & password. You agree to keep your login -ID and password private & confidential and Niitstudent.com shall not be responsible for the misuse of the login-ID and password by any person. Niitstudent.com reserves the right to terminate the account if any of the details provided are found to be false. Or if it deems necessary. 19. After registration, the student must access the site using his unique Login Id and password. It is advisable to change the password once in 30-45 days for security purposes. 20. Niitstudent.com assures all the Registered Users that the information provided by them to us at registration & thereafter shall be treated as strictly confidential. Niitstudent.com will not make use of this information except to offer you customized learning services and improve our interactions with you. 21. Niitstudent.com & its alliance partners have the right to communicate with the users, unless the user wishes otherwise. 22. Niitstudent.com has the right to constructively use, to further enhance our relationship with the Registered Users, all content provided by the user through chats, discussions, feedback, suggestions, etc. 23. Niitstudent.com reserves the right to stop access to any Registered User on account of inappropriate net behavior. 24. All NIIT Students who are completing a part of their learning at Niitstudent.com are also deemed students of Niitstudent.com. 25. Students who register on the site are DEEMED to be students till such time their details – Centre name, Registration # ,Student ID are validated against the student records of NIIT. 26. Students who do not provide their Registration No and Student ID within the stipulated number of days after signing up on the site will not be granted further access. They will be treated as SUSPENDED students. However, they can always Update Profile to reflect the correct Registration # and Student ID, post which all online services will be enabled for them within 24 hours 27. Only students who are VALID students as per the NIIT Student records will be able to access their WBL sessions on the site. Students who are drop-outs or fee defaulters or have taken a refund will not be allowed access to the WBL Sessions 28. Students who are already Certified or currently pursuing their Professional Practice are treated as Alumni and have a different set of services on the site – offered through www.netvarsity.com 29. Students who seek a Transfer Out from their centre are granted services for a limited period till they resume their learning at the destination centre. On joining the destination centre, students are expected to update their new centre information in their profile by using the Update Profile option on the site. 30. Every student is expected to have an email-id. Students who do not have email-id are requested to provide complete & accurate information on their postal address. Emails are the most preferred means of communicating with the student. All communication from the portal will be sent directly to the email-id as provided. In the absence of email-id, the communicated will be posted to the address as provided by the student in his profile 31. Students who do not have internet access can opt for the Offline Registration process. Under the Offline Registration process, only students who have sent complete information will be made members of the site. For more details on the Offline Site Registration process, students need to contact the centre. 32. www.niitstudent.com takes no responsibility for any omission or mis-matches in information as found in the student records at the NIIT Centre . If the student finds that there is some discrepancy in the information in the NIIT records, it is his responsibility to ensure that his records are corrected at the NIIT Centre. Alternatively, the student can write to wecare@niitstudent.com with documentary evidence. 33. niitstudent.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to any or all of the niitstudent.com web site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. Such actions will be taken if the user has disturbed the decorum on the site. 34. All dates and times are 0000 hrs IST of the said date. www.netvarsity.com. However, any student without a valid email id will not be
able to purchase Online courses on the www.netvarsity.com All student accounts created at www.netvarsity.com before 25th July are valid
on www.niitstudent.com. User Accounts created on www.netvarsity.com on/after 25th July are not valid
at www.niitstudent.com When students of niitstudent.com access NetVarsity.com, the terms and
conditions of NetVarsity.com are applicable for the students. All students of
